Cadillac is taking a new approach to promoting the quality and durability of its ATS. In a series of commercials featuring “Luxperiments” as Cadillac calls them, the testing behind the quality of the ATS is portrayed in a way that makes sense to the normal consumer. By destroying a variety of objects typically considered luxury items, consumers get a more striking visual image of the testing that the ATS goes through.
In the commercial featured below, a very expensive cake is subjected to the same extreme heat chamber that the ATS is subjected to in testing. As one would guess, the cake does not hold up nearly as well as the Cadillac. While these tests may prove the obvious that the luxury items will not hold up as well as the Cadillac, it still gives consumers a real-life look at the extreme testing that the ATS and other vehicles are subjected to before they are available for purchase. While your vehicle will more than likely never experience any of the extreme conditions featured in the “Luxperiments”, they still provide for some entertaining advertising.
